YOUR ROLE

  • The Sr. Brand Manager is a leadership role on the Marketing Team with responsibility for developing, implementing and managing annual strategic, financial, innovation and operating plans for a brand. This includes promotions, packaging, competitive analysis and P&L responsibility. Role will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams.
  • Achieve revenue, profitability, market share and other objectives by developing and executing annual and long-term strategic plans for the brand and consistent with corporate priorities. Actively managing short term & long-term brand P&L.
  • Leading and influencing innovation to develop and execute short and long-term core improvement and new products
  • Partnering with Sales Strategy to develop strong sell-in Trade story, including presentations and support materials, to achieve distribution targets
  • Building comprehensive product launch support plans, including communication and consumer promotional plans, to drive awareness to trial, increase household penetration and achieve sales/market share targets
  • Championing brand with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on brand plans and drive execution excellence
  • Managing all marketing activities including but not limited to promotions, research, packaging and pricing; developing and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies
  • Evaluating performance, identify competitive threats, and determine product strengths, weaknesses and opportunities by conducting market analyses
  • Manage & develop 2 direct reports.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors in Marketing; MBA preferred with a minimum of 6-10 years of progressive and successful CPG brand marketing experience; prior global cross functional experience with sales, supply chain, category management, etc. preferred. 

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, organization, prioritization, and presentation skills; general business management knowledge; Prior P&L experience and strong financial acumen in making effective business decisions
  • Proven abilities to consistently driving change, challenge the status-quo and creatively deliver results within a global organization.
  • Prior people management experience preferred. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
