  • Lead efforts to leverage digital tools for analytics and visualization (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) for Purchasing Logistics area
  • Effectively collect and analyze data related to logistics spend with the goal of uncovering areas of potential savings
  • Work cross-functionally with various business owners to develop and execute the Logistics Sourcing strategy.
  • Provide robust Logistics spend and market intelligence data, driving new opportunities for the company's continued growth.
  • Gains and documents sustainably total value chain, industry and supply base insight/knowledge for spend
  • Challenges and enriches the objectives, goals and strategies, incl. short/mid/long term financial targets and risk mitigation proposed by the Global Logistics team
  • Manages sourcing projects through excellent story boarding and best in class stakeholder management
  • Contributes to deliver bottom line/top line results managing own spend/projects according to yearly/long term planning and upfront target defined with gMGLs and KAMs; helps the gCTL to document all his/her decisions on suppliers
  • Conducts periodical risk assessment and designs and manages adequate countermeasures for selected spend fully leveraging big data analytics from available digital tools set


  • Bachelor’s degree required with two to four years related purchasing / supply chain or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of good purchasing practices, supply chain management and contract law as it applies to the procurement process. 
  • Strong knowledge of Logistics market including supplier base, general industry information and cost drivers. 
  • Advanced capabilities in Excel and other database. SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills & with ability to data mining, develop insights and create solutions. 
  • Self-Driven problem solver who is comfortable working with ambiguous data sets.
