Key Account Manager

  • The primary role of the Key Account Manager is to fully manage the assigned product categories and drive long-term profitable growth at Lowe's.
  • Accountable for achieving sales, profit, and budget goals annually.
  • Monitors and reports progress regularly.
  • Will partner with National Account Manager to align on category strategy.
  • Expectation to learn and develop extensive knowledge of the customer, product category, competition and market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, including merchandising, supply chain, replenishment, .com and marketing.
  • Actively work with internal support teams (customer care, marketing, supply chain, etc.).
  • Organize and execute all aspects of Product Line Reviews (strategy, presentation, planograms, etc.)
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and develop action plans where needed.
  • Manage all aspects of Lowe's omnichannel business
  • Actively participate in key Lowe's meetings.
  • Available to travel ~10% 


  • Bachelor's degree required, Focus on business preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Data & Financial Analysis

  • CPG industry experience preferred

  • Homecenter account experience a plus

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform quickly while ensuring accuracy

  • Effective written & verbal communication

  • Negotiation tactics and decision-making capability

  • Willingness to learn & grow

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a must

  • Experience with Vendor DART a plus
