Brand Management Summer 2020 Intern

Henkel is recruiting highly motivated and curious students in the first year of their MBA programs to join the Henkel brand management internship class of 2020.  At Henkel, you can make a difference and craft your career, owning your projects and taking full responsibility from an early stage. As an intern you will have the opportunity to lead 3 projects designed to develop you as a brand leader.

As an intern, you are an integral part of the team with learning opportunities in the following areas:

  • Strategy: Spearhead a strategic project to help solve a business need for your brand, assisting in the achievement of long-term brand objectives. Culminates in a presentation to leadership.
  • Creative: Responsibility for a communications/creative project including working with agencies to develop creative and bringing it to market in a timely manner.
  • Analytics: Lead one analytics project, learning the drivers of your business and collecting and connecting data from a variety of sources in a meaningful way. Culminates in a recommendation to leadership based on your analysis.
  • Teamwork:  Act as a valuable member of the team from day 1!  Attending business meetings and helping the brand team and cross-functionals with achieving day-to-day brand goals.
  • Networking: Exposure to senior management through projects, intern events, and final presentations at the end of the internship to senior leaders.

Henkel will provide you with a mentor, peer buddy, and all the tools you need to be successful in brand management.  Henkel promises its interns a summer of learning, growth, and fun! At the end of your summer, you will present your strategic findings and recommendation to senior marketing leadership and your broader cross-functional team.

  • Education: Students in the first year of their MBA programs with a 2021 graduation date.
  • Marketing Acumen: Ability to understand and grasp fundamental marketing concepts. Ability to extrapolate data and perform data analysis.
  • Personal Leadership: Strong organization & timeline management skills; demonstrated bias for action. Strong team player, who can build strong cross-functional relationships. Curious and creative mindset.
