Purchasing Analyst

  • Conduct rigorous internal "spend" analytics to identify usage patterns and sourcing opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement to improve overall quality of process and completeness
  • Utilize multiple data sources and systems (Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.) to develop operational and business related metrics and reports as required. Key duties are quantitative analysis, cost benefit analysis, data mining, data modeling, and database management
  • Manage overall process addressing all corrective and preventative actions. Escalation point for all process issues regarding procurement
  • Ensure testing of relevant developments and Pro-actively assist in identifying and quantifying value driven by our Center of Excellence (COE)
  • Drive and support end to end sourcing Projects.
  •  All Other responsibilities as required


  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Three to five years purchasing or equivalent experience with knowledge of strategic sourcing and contract handling.

  • Prior experience in building savings projects and Source to Pay process
  • Strong Excel, math, and cost modeling skills strongly preferred with ability to comb through large amounts of data, analyze, draw conclusions, and present a coherent viewpoint.
  • SAP and/or Ariba experience and knowledge of building Tableau or Power BI reports is a huge plus
