Technical Sales Territory Manager (Nonwovens & Tissues)

  • The Technical Sales Territory Manager will be responsible to grow sales in an assigned territory by developing deep relationships and a broad understanding of our clients manufacturing processes in order identify and offer solutions using Henkel's products. 
  • Work to establish a complete target list, documenting growth potential by application and location.
  • Prioritize, direct & execute sales programs for the assigned market areas.
  • Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team.
  • Become competent with and utilize Henkel's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage the sales and customer management processes.
  • Recognize competitive forces and prepare sales strategies to offset them.  

This position will be remote-based. Geographic sales territory includes the Ohio and Southeast United States. An average of 50% overnight travel would be required.


  • BA/BS Degree is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial/technical sales or equivalent experience in process solutions is required.
  • Experience in paper, nonwoeven, tissue or related hygiene products is strongly desired. 
  • Exhibited knowledge of applicable products and applications including product chemistries, application, manufacturing, and equipment a plus. Knowledge of automated control equipment helpful.
  • Ability to set and meet specific and measurable goals and objectives; proven experience creating and maintaining key accounts based on excellent customer relationships.
  • Excellent planning, organization, customer focus, results, and relationship building skills; ability to work well in team environment and to facilitate meetings consisting of key customers.
