Strategic Head Of Technical Management/Technical Customer Support (Automotive OEM)

YOUR ROLE

  • Develop strategic team mission driving / defending Henkel’s market leadership position.

  • Drive generation of new business sales by introducing new products or technologies to customers through Technical Managers & Technical Customer Service.

  • Jointly with marketing/sales define and drive commercial roadmaps and technology roadmaps and subsequent roll out of products delivering on the commercial targets.

  • Actively identify and lead development  projects in alignment with strategic business unit and Market Segment to stay ahead of competition and facilitate industry change.

  • Provide Market & competitive intelligence and drive strategic product / technology recommendations

  • Contribute to the overall Regional  strategy by working in close alignment with the Regional strategic business unit head.

  • Provide best-in-industry product and process support to customers during the introduction phase (e.g. line trials), pre/during & post launch.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Management or related field is required. MS degree is a plus. 
    10+ years of technical and commercial experience in automotive, aerospace, adhesives, or a related industry.

  • Previous experience leading a team .

  • Requires knowledge of relevant product technologies including surface treatments, sealants, structural inserts,structural acoustics or structural tapes.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence decision makers.

  • Proven change agent.
