 YOUR ROLE

  • Technical Leadership
    • Provides technical guidance and leadership on IT Operational topics, hardware, software and processes
    • Coach teams on best technical practices within your scope of work 
  • IT Operational Leadership.
    • Ensures that their team is providing operational excellence and is continuously looking for ways to improve
    • Works with other towers in IT to ensure their teams are also providing high quality service to our locations
    • Make decisions strategically, while thinking big picture. 
  • IT Ambassador Leader.
    • Ensures their team is pushing past pure technical support, and in to being a partner to the business
    • Look for new, non-traditional ways to be an ambassador to the business 
  • Change Agent
    • Looks for ways to challenge the status quo and push the team into new ways of working.
    • Be a positive part of the change when it arises 
  • Vendor Management
    • Makes sure vendors deliver on commitments
    • Manage/approve/review contracts 
  • Project Execution
    • Delivers high quality project management for various sized projects
      • Clear Communication
      • Appropriate levels of urgency
      • Firm timelines
    • Coaches Team Members on Project Management Techniques, and ensures high quality execution on their projects as well 
  • Team Development
    • Create opportunities for your team to ensure their growth
    • Push the team to challenge status quo and work towards the best solutions for all parties.

 YOUR SKILLS

  • Four year degree or equivalent of relevant work experience
  • Minimum seven years experience in various IT roles; experience in both company-wide and operating unit roles preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC, Internet, O365, and related technologies/applications.
  • Experience with major ERP software application – SAP preferred.
  • Ability to manage time in the most efficient manner relative to timeframe and budgetary targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with familiarity in all aspects of information technology.
  • Technical expertise regarding best practices and technologies.
