eCommerce Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our team as eCommerce Manager, responsible for growing our business with existing and future pureplay retail partners.

Henkel Beauty Care is a global business active in both the retail and professional beauty markets. In the UK, our Beauty Retail business is growing year on year, brands include household names such as Right Guard, Schwarzkopf, Live Colour, got2b and Colour Expert.

Reporting to the eCommerce Lead, the role itself will shape and implement our pureplay strategy, in accounts such as Amazon, Ocado, Feel Unique and ebay. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a growing and successful part of the beauty care business.

Key eCommerce Manager responsibilities:

- Shape our pureplay strategy and grow our business in Amazon, Ocado, Feel Unique and ebay
- Responsible for full P&L management in owned accounts
- Deliver against net sales & profitability targets
- Manage launch strategy and execution plan of NPD into your accounts
- Use data and insight to drive strategic plan, and execute the plan with excellence
- Deliver monthly forecasting of revenue, net sales, and retail sales
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on inputs and metrics to ensure optimisation of sales
- Along with the eCommerce lead, share global best practices and deliver against Global KPI's
- Champion the principles and practises of eCommerce by sharing best practice and helping to upskill the wider sales and marketing team
- Identify new opportunities to drive net sales in pureplay channels, and gain alignment
- Achieve 'Shelf Excellence' within accounts by following best practice in online media, content, merchandising and assortment strategy


eCommerce Manager Qualifications/Experience:

- Day to day experience of managing an Amazon account is essential
- Demonstrable success in eCommerce National Account Management or Direct to consumer eCommerce role)
- In depth understanding of the online customer journey for retailers and pureplayers
- Strong financial acumen and sales experience, an understanding of how to drive profitability via trading terms
- Experience in all aspects of P & L management
- Must bring entrepreneurial spirit with the motivation and drive to be a self-starter
