Lead Applications Engineer (Laminate/Flexible Packaging)

YOUR ROLE

  • The Lead Applications Engineer will conduct in-house technical service and engineering activities in support of Henkel's Flexible Packaging business and its customers.
  • Support of our marketing and product development areas by driving our innovation and technology pipeline
  • Troubleshoot customer complaints to identify application or product issues and provide technical solutions.
  • Provide customer presentations and training, and quantify the value delivered.
  • Work independently to resolve issues and challenges. Identify, deliver and quantify value to our customers by leveraging Lean Six Sigma and project management skills.
  • Implement continuous improvement projects both internally and externally.
  • 30% Domestic Travel

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related degree.

  • 5-10 years of technical industry experience in Laminating or related Flexible Packaging business is required.

  • Ability to multi-task with very strong analytical, troubleshooting and mechanical skills Works successfully independently and collaboratively across teams 

  • Demonstration of success in managing projects in cross-functional teams

  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
