Customer Relations Specialist

YOUR ROLE 

  • Develop and communicate written and verbal price quotations
  • Work with cross-functional teams on expedited deliveries, i.e. Supply Chain and/or Traffic teams. Effective, timely communications with external and internal customers via fax, phone, e-mail. Use of customer-specific eBusiness applications (EDI and web-based systems) 
  • Accurately record customer complaints to insure effective routing & resolution across multiple Henkel groups. Define and process new account set-up and changes to existing customer records
  • Participate on process improvement teams as directed by the Supervisor or Sr. Coordinator. Participate in production meetings as required to ensure customer order requirements are met
  • Process SAP sales order mgmt transactions (create, change, cancel) and corresponding reporting tools. Coordinate customer material specification review and SAP material master creation to ensure customer purchase order acceptance complies with approved product specifications

YOUR SKILLS

  • B.A./B.S. degree preferred and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Customer Service or related areas 
  • ERP experience a plus (e.g. SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Customer Focus, Good planning and organizational skills
  • Work well under pressure, Detail oriented, Commitment to workplace safety
