Deep diving into the four focus areas Raw Materials, Formula, Processing or Packaging, you will gain in-depth knowledge on how to shape the future of our leading Laundry & Home Care brands.

Choose your homebase: Düsseldorf ‏(Germany), Dubai ‏(United Arab Emirates), or Trumbull ‏(USA) – and let your journey begin.

Assessment Event

In the one-day assessment you will be able to show your skills in role play scenarios, presentations and group discussions.

Onboarding & Homebase

After the selection process you will get onboarded in your homebase. Here you will focus on your chosen area for one year: Raw Materials, Formula, Processing or Packaging.

Your Journey

In your second year you will rotate through two new positions within the R&D department and gain international experience with a stay abroad. During the stay you will have the chance to also rotate to one of our sustainability functions.

Raw Materials

Explore surfactants, polymers, enzymes, organics, additives, to create and manage new product sensations for Henkel’s Laundry & Home Care.

Formula

Dive into complex formulations and chemical structures to understand how a formulation matrix affects the properties and performance of materials – all while making sure they remain feasible.

Processing

Design new products and processes and develop production technology from lab to shelf on an industrial scale. Be in the lead when new products are brought to life in the supply chain organization.

Packaging

Access consumer needs to create convenient and sustainable packaging by using smart packaging designs including sustainably sourced materials.

As we’d like to ensure that this journey is truly inspiring for you, we need to know about your professional goals as early as possible. We’ve created an easy recruitment process that will help you share your aspirations with us directly at the beginning.

Interview

After carefully checking your application, we call you for a first interview. A subsequent interview with R&D will follow to learn more about your technical background and give you an overview of your potential role at Henkel.

Assessment day

In the second step, you’ll join us for an assessment day which includes a final interview, after which the deal will be sealed with an offer and your journey begins!
