Kannan is owner of Principia, a company that advises various businesses on investment, merger and acquisition opportunities, digital consumer proposition and processes. He has worked in the marketing, branding, digital and data fields for many years, previously running Fitch, a WPP company, MB Analytics and Blue Interactive Marketing and has held interim board and Board advisory positions for major corporates. He has worked on numerous major projects of all scales and sizes for clients including Amec, BAT, BBC, British Gas, Burberry, Cisco, The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Harvey Nichols, HP, Johnson and Johnson, Fortnum and Mason, GSK, Provident Financial, Reckitt Benckiser, SAP, Shell, Toyota and Unilever amongst others.

He is also an angel investor, buying and selling digital and marketing service businesses, for himself and others. Kannan has a master’s degree in Mathematics from Oxford University and a DPhil in AI and Mathematics at Oxford University.

An investor who provides small financial backing for startups or entrepreneurs and (ideally) entrepreneurial advice to the founders.
