Prof. Dr. Christian Stummeyer

After completion of his studies at the Georg-August University in Göttingen, he started his career at the Boston Consulting Group in Düsseldorf, where he was focused on consulting FMCG/trade and high-tech firms on their market-entry, growth and multi-channel strategies. He then became one of the senior executives at Siemens AG in Munich and worked in the New York, Dallas and London offices. In 2009, he left the corporate world and for the next five years, was Managing Director of a leading online design furniture shop in the DACH region.

From 2014 until 2016 he was the managing director at UDG United Digital Group, Germany’s biggest digital agency and since then is a professor of „Wirtschaftsinformatik und Digital Commerce“ at the famous “Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt” (THI). His focus areas for teaching are in E-Commerce and Digital Businesses.
