Indola raises more than 15,000 euros
The Indola salons, the Indola marketing team and the Indola technical team in the Netherlands initiated numerous activities to collect money for the benefit campaign “Serious Request” of the Dutch radio station 3FM and the Red Cross - and raised more than 15,000 euros!
3FM Serious Request and the Red Cross have been working together since 2004 in an attempt to banish silent disasters. This time the aid was dedicated to combating child mortality by diarrhea. Each year, 800,000 children die because of bad hygiene and lack of drinking water and toilets. That’s 2,200 children each and every day!
The Indola salons placed donation boxes on their counters and used supporting marketing material such as posters to communicate the initiative in their premises. Some of Indola’s customers also chose to go further and donate a part of their daily turnover.
The Indola technical team opened a pop-up salon at the Henkel site in Nieuwegein. Nine freelancers donated their time to give Henkel employees a new hair style. Another initiative was undertaken by the Indola marketing team, who participated in a Serious Request Run and completed a marathon. Henkel also gave support, matching euro for euro the amount which was raised by the Indola initiatives.
