In line with Henkel’s initiative to support education, Elaine Kunkle, General Manager Integrated Business Solutions, Henkel Asia Pacific Service Centre and President of Henkel Philippines, Inc, and Edwin Revano, IT Manager, personally delivered the computers, which will support the learning and development of less-privileged students.

At the Josephine Bakhita Outreach Center, the computers will mainly benefit elementary to college scholars. The Outreach Center scholars are carefully chosen from the poorest families who neither have personal computers nor the funds to rent one. In addition to educational assistance, the center also provides family support to scholars and their parents, a livelihood program for women, and a day care center. The computers will also benefit Alternative Learning System (ALS) students who are pursuing their High School education.

In the newly-created computer laboratory of the Sta. Rosa Science and Technology High School, the donated computers will help the school fulfill its vision of becoming a center of excellence in science and technology. The computers will allow teachers to introduce advanced teaching methods and provide students the opportunity to equip themselves with the knowledge needed for a successful future.
