Soccer camps for kids
The NGO Secours populaire francais and Carrefour supermarkets team up to support a Henkel project that offers 100 soccer camps to children.
Henkel launched the solidarity initiative in partnership with Secours populaire français, one of the biggest solidarity organizations in France, and Carrefour stores during the World Cup in Brazil.
Henkel will offer 100 soccer camps to children at the famous professional soccer club of Saint-Etienne, one of the most successful club in France’s soccer history and the winner of the French League Cup in 2013.
One hundred children selected by Secours populaire français will join the club’s training center for one week. The program, which includes drills, technical exercises, games and activities, will be supervised voluntarily by the club’s professional coaches.
Henkel’s Laundry & Home Care and Beauty Care brands (Le Chat, Super Croix, X-TRA, Mir, Essence Ultîme, Scorpio, taft and Diadermine) took part in the social initiative by offering the football courses as part of a partnership with Carrefour stores everywhere in France.
