The ranking of CSR leaders is an initiative launched four years ago by Polityka, a prestigious Polish weekly. This year’s ranking, prepared in cooperation with Deloitte, was based on a survey of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development activities undertaken by Polish businesses with revenues in excess of 250 million Polish złoty.

The survey was prepared in compliance with the ISO 26000 standard, which defines social responsibility guidelines for companies. It contained questions on corporate governance, human rights, attitudes towards employees, environmental protection, customer relations, business integrity, and social outreach activities.

This year, the Gold, Silver and White CSR Leaves were awarded to 44 out of the 113 companies which took part in the survey.
