We maintain long-standing and strategic partnerships with 90 universities and research institutions worldwide, such as the Fraunhofer Institute, RWTH Aachen University, Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, the University of Toronto, the University of Washington, Shanghai Fudan University and the National Chemical Laboratory. The focus here is on research areas such as wood-based materials, pressure-sensitive adhesives and electromobility. In addition, Henkel promotes open innovation projects with research institutes in areas such as renewable carbon-based materials.
