What you´ll do

  • Instalar y/o reemplazar máquina y equipos mecánicos tales como unidades hidráulicas, motores, bombas, agitadores y otros equipos similares, de acuerdo con diagramas, dibujos esquemáticos, manuales de operación y especificaciones de manufactura.
  • Reparar y mantener componentes mecánicos de reactores, mezcladores, máquinas de llenado y empaque, calderas, compresores y otros equipos industriales similares, de acuerdo al conocimiento de la operación del equipo y especificaciones del proceso. 
  • Detectar y diagnosticar defectos y fallas mecánicas y mal funcionamiento. Examinar piezas para detectar defectos tales como: rotura, desgaste excesivo, grado de deterioro, usando instrumentos de medición.
  • Desmantelar equipos y aparatos hasta llegar a las piezas defectuosas. Reemplazar piezas defectuosas incluyendo piezas tales como sellos mecánicos, piñones, cajas de bola, uniones de acoplamiento, correas y poleas, usando herramientas manuales y herramientas de potencia motriz. 
  • Verificar dimensiones de las piezas usando reglas, calibradores y otros instrumentos de medir. 
  • Ajustar tolerancias de alineamiento y torque requerido usando instrumentos de medir. 
  • Realizar mantenimiento preventivo para todo tipo de máquinas y equipo en toda la planta. 
  • Limpiar y lubricar máquinas y piezas de máquinas.
  • Escribir en la Hoja de Asignaciones de trabajo diario la correspondiente información, tales como: tiempo, trabajo terminado y trabajo pendiente. 
  • Incluir la información de tiempo de trabajo el sistema computarizado de mantenimiento – “CCMS”. 
  • Cerrar las órdenes de trabajo en el sistema computarizado de mantenimiento – “CCMS”. 
  • Realizar análisis de riesgo de los trabajos asignados y documentarlos en la hoja de “Permiso de Trabajo”, según fuera requerido. 
  • Realizar auditorías de 4 minutos de “5S” e informar y/o documentar en la hoja para esos propósitos. 
  • Usar técnicas de SPC para corregir fallas de equipos y participar en grupos de resolver problemas. 
  • Operar los equipos de utilidades, ante la ausencia del operador, incluyendo calderas, compresores de aire, generadores de emergencia, torres de enfriamiento y cualquier otro equipo / accesorio y labores relacionadas al área de Utilidades, cuando sea necesario, y/o según asignado por el Supervisor y/o Gerente. 
  • Trabajar turnos rotativos y fines de semana, según sea necesario.

What makes you a good fit

  • Diploma en mecánica de Escuela Superior Vocacional o Técnica. 
  • Turno rotativo de cada 3 semanas 6:00 am-2:30 pm y 12:00 pm -8:30 pm
  • Más de tres años de experiencia en mecánica industrial.
  • Licencia de Mecánico Automotriz y/o Industrial, deseable. 
  • Manejar montacargas (Forklift)

The salary for this role is $14.50 - $15.50. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
