At Henkel, sustainability is at the heart of our strategy to build a competitive advantage in the market. We are seeking a Sustainability Manager to join our team. You will work alongside another Global Sustainability Manager, each with defined responsibilities, and report directly to the Global Head of Sustainability. Your mission will focus on four key priorities:Circularity, Community Engagement, Marketing Support and Cross-Functional Initiatives.
What you´ll do
- Lead and deliver circularity and sustainability transformation projects from concept to execution, including end-of-life initiatives.
- Drive the Welcome Home program and coordinate a strong network of sustainability champions.
- Promote sustainable business practices and design engaging sustainability trainings to ensure continuous community upskilling.
- Build partnerships with key customer sustainability stakeholders and external partners.
- Evaluate sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and integration into core operations.
- Support global marketing with sustainability-driven innovation and bold, authentic messaging while avoiding greenwashing.
- Contribute to portfolio sustainability KPI setting, track progress, and report insights to senior leadership through the Sustainability SteerCo.
What makes you a good fit
- Fluent in business English.
- Master’s degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability or business roles.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in marketing consulting, change management, and organizational design.
- Solid operational business experience.
