Henkel has achieved a groundbreaking sustainability milestone, with its Nairobi, Kenya manufacturing site now fully powered by 100% renewable electricity. This accomplishment marks a significant step forward for Henkel's sustainability efforts in the region, highlighting Kenya’s leadership in the transition to clean energy.

Marking a significant enhancement to its capabilities in E-Mobility, Henkel today announced the opening of its state-of-the-art Battery Test Center at the company’s headquarters in Düsseldorf. This cutting-edge facility is an essential addition to Henkel's Battery Engineering Center, which was first introduced in September 2023 with the launch of the Battery Application Center. With the opening of the Battery Test Center, Henkel is reinforcing its position as a leading design and innovation partner for automotive OEMs and battery manufacturers in the rapidly evolving E-Mobility sector.

Henkel and Teca-Print today have announced a partnership in the pad printing field of printed electronics. The collaboration aims to further drive the adoption of pad printing solutions in emerging technologies such as antenna, digital healthcare, 3D electronics, and smart mobility by supporting customers in accelerating their projects. Based on the partners combined expertise Henkel and Teca-Print will offer seamless product recommendations from R&D to final production processes as well as joint trial possibilities and feasibility studies.

Henkel presents an innovative solution for more efficiency and sustainability in alkaline etching of aluminum for architectural applications: Bonderite C-AK 24600 can save energy or increase etching performance, depending on the system configuration. Specifically, the user can either increase the etching rate while maintaining the same application temperature, or reduce the temperature while maintaining the same etching performance.
