About this position
What you´ll do
- Development of raw materials and formulations, by using especially biomass-derived chemicals suitable for adhesives, sealants and coatings
- Preparing and carrying out organic/polymer syntheses in the laboratory
- Planning, conducting, and documenting laboratory experiments with a pronounced “hands-on” mentality
- Testing and analysing development (preliminary) products for various strategic business units
- Scale-up and transfering of laboratory processes in close cooperation with all interfaces (e.g. production)
- Supporting technology transfers to various functions e.g. product development, application engineering and other customer facing teams
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum successful completed Bachelor degree in chemistry, material science, or a comparable field of study
- Around 5 years of working experience in the field of polymer/material science, and/or organic chemistry
- Interest in experimental work in a modern, application-oriented research and development environment and the desire to implement your own ideas in new technical solutions
- Team-oriented and communicative working style, including cross-functional collaborations and teams
- Fluent in German, good English skills are desirable
