This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you´ll do
- Generate and qualify leads for subsequent development. This includes providing technical presentations to engineering firms, conducting face to face meetings, and attending industry meetings, conferences, and industry committee meetings.
- Manage the business development effort. With the support of management, define and execute sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed annual sales plans and quotas.
- Perform key account planning to identify, develop, and close business opportunities in support of business plan and strategic objectives. Maintain favorable business relationships with key accounts (consulting engineers, general contractors and certified applicators).
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the technical solutions offered by Henkel’s LOCTITE Tyfo & RenewWrap FRP products and services. Conduct sales calls and make product / service presentations to meet customer needs.
- Review and understand bid documents on opportunities pursued within the territory. Provide input into the design process, optimize pricing, and develop relationships to acquire and execute profitable orders.
- Develop technical specifications that support product position, proper bidding requirements and ensure successful project completion.
- Fully utilize company CRM (SalesForce) to provide accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
- Generate market and competitor intelligence and perform market analysis to drive territory sales growth.
- Spearhead management of customer service and achieving customer satisfaction. Ensure prompt investigation of client concerns and provide problem resolutions or referral to appropriate personnel.
- Remain current on sales performance and provide sales reports as required. Provide ongoing status reports to detail activity to include factored sales forecast, orders report, and backlog report.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, PE accreditation highly desirable.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Consulting Engineer in a consulting engineering environment, or equivalent field experience.
- A genuine interest in learning to sell and serving clients. Competitive and achievement oriented. Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Trainable & coachable in professional selling techniques.
- Client focused and strong engineering background.
- Ability to work with presentation software.
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
- Travel by automobile and airplane is required.

The salary for this role is $100,000.00 - $145,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
