What makes you a good fit
- BS/MS from an accredited university in Chemistry. PhD in Chemistry (Polymer chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry) will be an advantage.
- 5-8 years of experience in materials research, development and formulation. Experience in formulating industrial coatings, composites and adhesives preferred.
- Strong knowledge of polymer science, including polymer chemistry, structure property relationships, rheology, bulk and mechanics of adhesive materials.
- Experience with advanced testing methods (tensile, DSC, DMTA, TGA, accelerated aging testing, and testing under cyclic loading).
- Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analytical techniques (FTIR, NMR, GC-MS, GPC, and titrations) with excellent hands-on laboratory skills.
- Ability to independently design, execute and analyze experiments while handling multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of on-time product development delivery from idea generation to completion is required.
- Candidate must be fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); able to respond quickly to customer needs in a fast-paced environment

The salary for this role is $ 65,000.00 - $ 85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
