We aim to improve the collaboration with our suppliers by increasing the order process efficiency with the use of digital buying channels. Therefore, we nominate our key suppliers to use specified buying channels. Suppliers already using Ariba Network can also initiate the enablement of any suitable buying channel. Upon the successful enablement suppliers start receiving purchase orders via SAP Ariba Network.
Nomination to a Buying Channel at Ariba Network
Once nominated suppliers are connected to SAP Ariba, our team assists with the buying channel specific steps. The only exceptional channel is E-mail Quotation Request: a solution for our low-volume suppliers. For this option, a connection to SAP Ariba is not required. Suppliers can be enabled for the following 3 categories of buying channels
Make sure to keep your notifications up to date! Set your notification preferences.
- From the Company Settings menu, select “Notifications”.
- Click on the check box next to any notification you would like to receive.
- Enter up to three email addresses, separated by commas, to specify who should receive each notification.
- Click “Save” after you are finished and click “Close” to exit.
