About this position

About this Position

  • This position belongs to GCN engineering department who responsible for >1M Euro projects what happened in 9 factories in China AO. In addition, we are also responsible for the Henkel process technologies, project management section, advanced technologies etc.
  • This position will have more opportunities to be aware of Henkel’s advanced process technologies including different networks and different countries.
    At the same time this position will be a large project manager depending on candidate’s personal working experience, technical background and potential abilities.  

What you´ll do

  • Act as engineering manager-process who focus more on Henkel process development perspective what include preliminarily design & detailed PID design and reviewing, equipment specification design and others technical specification provided for purchasing and MEI works.
  • Participate in PRA reviewing, process improvement activities and other networks process technologies development activities.
  • Take the role of PM to lead project team member of site installation, ME&I works, commissioning works during construction and start-up period in order to complete the project according to its scope, schedule, cost and finally meet the customer's requirements.
  • Attend the project steering committee meeting and report the project status regularly. Communicate with others functions to analysis the business case of project.
  • Based on Henkel Invest II requirement to lead and submit the projects.   

What makes you a good fit

  • Major in chemical process area, bachelor’s degree or above, 6-8 years project working experience at least.
  • At least attend 1-2 middle or big ME&I construction project. It is better to have site construction management experience.
  • Familiar with PID, process equipment and MEI installation drawings.
  • Familiar with SHE regulation and procedure of big foreign companies.
  • Responsibility, highly working activity & self-control ability, better communication & coordination skills.
  • Fluent in oral English. Familiars with Microsoft, PPT, AUTOCAD etc. software.
  • PMP certificate is better.
