About this Position

The Quality Engineer at Henkel is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and systems meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory and customer requirements. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining quality assurance programs, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting manufacturing and product development teams to achieve operational excellence. The Quality Engineer acts as a key contributor to Henkel’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction and supporting the QA/QC specialist in on-line quality inspections, Pre-dispatch inspections and 3PM/3PL quality control protocols.

What you´ll do

  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Analyze quality performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize testing and measurement tools to assess product quality.
  • Document inspection results, including any non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
  • Support production teams by addressing and resolving quality issues during manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
  • Utilize organization’s ERP SAP to manage projects/orders + material allocations.
  • Effectively and efficiently reporting back all concerns vide the applicable tools being provided for by the organization.
  • Ensuring 100% adherence to company SHE policies and protocols.
  • Ability to utilize FMEA, RCA, SPC and associated concepts – this is one of the mandatory requirements

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing.
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical mind with attention to detail.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills and adaptability.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, or HACCP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in quality analysis tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
