About this Position
As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations across North America. Your expertise will help the company navigate the complexities of corporate income and property tax processes, ultimately supporting our financial integrity and operational excellence. You will be joining a dynamic team of finance professionals where collaboration and communication are key. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you’ll work alongside process owners and finance partners, tackling challenges head-on and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and accuracy in our tax processes. What you´ll do
- Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and international tax returns, including elections, extensions, and related filings, in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare, review, and submit federal, state, and international estimated tax payments in accordance with regulatory deadlines
- Develop and maintain tax reports and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and audit readiness
- Prepare and review quarterly tax provisions, including required workpapers, analyses, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate effectively with process owners, finance partners, and tax authorities to address and resolve accounting or tax‑related issues
- Support various income tax–related projects and identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Preferably with at least three (3) years of relevant experience in U.S. Direct Tax (Federal and State Income Tax), ideally within a shared service or GBS+ environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); Simple automation experience using Macro and VBA is highly preferred.
- Experience with SAP and Corptax is highly preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, with demonstrated analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Amenable to on a mid‑shift schedule (12:00 NN –to 9:00 PM), and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati.
