About this Position
As a Senior Order to Cash Accountant, your primary mission will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes related to customer payments. By recording incoming payments promptly and preparing comprehensive reports, you will play a crucial role in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting our company's operational goals. You’ll join a dedicated finance team that values collaboration and open communication. Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will have the opportunity to engage with local and regional sales teams, fostering strong relationships while working through challenges such as cash application issues. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by streamlining processes and contributing to financial reporting accuracy, all while working in a supportive environment where your expertise in Korean will be valued in serving our diverse client base.
What you´ll do
- Record incoming payments from customer within 24 hours Service Level Agreement (SLA) and ensure payments are posted accurately to the correct customer account
- Prepare payment details for customer payment and records promissory notes from customer weekly/monthly
- Prepare Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging Report and distribute to sales regional and local level; Identify payment discrepancies in accordance with established procedures
- Liaise with counterparts and local customer support group to resolve cash application issues and answers customer inquiries as needed
- Ensure that end of day report/weekly and monthly reports are submitted on time.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in BPO or shared service industry; Preferably with experience in handling SAP Order Entry Process
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required; SAP knowledge in Order Entry is required
- Must be detail oriented and customer-service oriented; continuous improvement mindset preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Korean language proficiency and with excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
- Amenable to work on a dayshift schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), following local country holiday, and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
