About this Position

 

What you´ll do

  • Lead the development of the external injection moulding manufacturing footprint, including supplier relocation, onboarding activities, support for new program implementations, and continuous supplier improvement within the automotive industry
  • Organize and coordinate production ramp-ups with European contract manufacturers, maintaining strong relationships with partners to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee and analyze manufacturing processes in injection molding, e.g. including OEE monitoring and shopfloor management
  • Work closely with suppliers to effectively resolve issues during crisis periods
  • Optimize and manage processing costs within the assigned portfolio, ensuring cost-efficiency and fostering continuous improvement
  • Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including purchasing, supply chain, engineering, quality, business functions, and external partners, to create a cooperative working environment
  • Support safety, health, environmental, and quality audits with a responsible approach, ensuring compliance and promoting operational excellence
  • Coordinate technical and operational topics (e.g., technical specifications) between Henkel and suppliers to ensure alignment and meet technical and operational requirements

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • First professional experience (approx. 2+ years) in operations/manufacturing, supply chain or project management, ideally in an automotive environment. Experience in injection moulding would be beneficial.
  • Initial experience in coordinating projects or workstreams within cross-functional teams
  • Experience in driving cost saving initiatives within manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Fluent English skills are a must
  • Willingness to travel + category B driving licence
