About this Position
The Global Procurement Manager – International Freight is responsible for securing global, cross-business unit logistics spend at optimal end-to-end (E2E) cost and best-in-class commercial terms. The role ensures strategic access to a resilient, innovative, and sustainable logistics supply base while driving value creation across cost, service, risk, and environmental impact.
What you´ll do
- Strategy & Value Delivery: Drive global freight procurement strategy and deliver measurable E2E cost, service, and value improvements aligned with business targets.
- Supplier & Sustainability Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing, sustainable supplier portfolio, driving innovation, resilience, and ESG/CO₂ reduction initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted partner to Supply Chain and Business Units, aligning procurement strategies with business needs and influencing senior stakeholders globally.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building: Coach and develop procurement teams, fostering a high-performance culture and strengthening sourcing, negotiation, and data-driven capabilities.
- Sourcing Excellence & Governance: Lead end-to-end sourcing processes with full transparency, compliance, and proactive contract and agreement portfolio management.
- Risk, Resilience & Digitalization: Manage supply risk and crisis situations, strengthen logistics resilience, and leverage digital tools and data to enhance decision-making and performance.

- Strong business and procurement acumen, with 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience required
- Advanced negotiation and contract management skills

- Good understanding of logistics markets and broader supply chain dynamics
