About this Position

The Material Planning Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end management of logistics processes and ensuring a continuous flow of materials to support production requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between Material Planning and Logistics, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate tracking, and efficient supplier performance monitoring. 

What you´ll do

  • Manage and coordinate the logistics process to ensure uninterrupted material flow and supply continuity.
  • Act as a bridge between Material Planning and Logistics teams to align priorities and execution.
  • Confirm and manage pickup requests with logistics providers and suppliers.
  • Monitor and track all shipments from origin (Point A) to destination (Point B), ensuring real-time visibility.
  • Collect and validate all required information to guarantee accurate and timely material deliveries.
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance related to logistics and delivery compliance.
  • Track and report logistics KPIs; support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for logistics issues.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including Mexican and U.S. customs laws and Incoterms.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes, including digital strategy, data analytics, and BI.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Production Planning, Purchasing, and Vendor Management.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency (required).
  • Strong experience in logistics operations, shipment tracking, and supply chain coordination.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite, SAP (preferred), Power BI or data analytics tools (nice to have).
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management processes, Material & Production Planning, Purchasing & Vendor, Management, Incoterms and international logistics.
  • Strong assertive communication skills, Negotiation capabilities, Problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause analysis, High sense of urgency and accountability, Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
