About this Position

As a Regional Process Engineering Manager - IMEA, you will be one of four individual contributors in a high-performing regional team, collaborating across sites and functions to elevate process engineering standards. You’ll work closely with site Process Engineers, Production, Engineering, and global counterparts to lead initiatives that improve safety, productivity, and quality.
This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and influencing skills, someone who owns their deliverables, thrives in ambiguity, and is passionate about developing others. 

What you´ll do

  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Lead and execute process improvement initiatives across regional manufacturing sites, focusing on safety, productivity, quality, and sustainability. This is the core of your role.
  • Strategic Process Design & Capital Project Leadership: Own the process design scope within strategic project teams, covering localization, brownfield/greenfield expansions, and new line installations. Co-lead equipment selection to ensure optimal performance, safety, and scalability.
  • Process Safety Leadership: Champion process safety by leading and coaching risk assessments including PRAs, HAZOPs, FMEAs, PSSRs, and more. Role model best practices and build site capabilities.
  • Automation & Digital Solutions: Apply automation technologies to solve business challenges related to safety, quality, performance, and cost. Drive implementation of smart solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Technical Coaching & Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert to coach and mentor site Process Engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge transfer.
  • Technology Roadmap: Develop and drive the technology roadmap for your assigned technologies in alignment with regional and global standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate across diverse functions such as Lean, SHE, Engineering, R&D, and global PE to align priorities and deliver results. Influence without authority is key.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline; Knowledge of hotmelt and water-based adhesives is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of batch/ chemical manufacturing preferred, ideally across multiple sites and countries, with regular remote and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading multiple process engineering initiatives, designing and/ or transforming process as a project Process Engineering Lead
  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization using simulation and Lean tools, including structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience in process safety methodologies including HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, SIL, and PSSRs.
  • Proven ability to work as an individual contributor with high autonomy, owning priorities and deliverables
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills across all organizational levels—from shop floor teams to senior executives
  • Passion for coaching and developing others, with a hands-on approach to technical mentorship.
  • Fluent in English is a must, with experience communicating across multiple countries.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily across the IMEA region (Saudi Arabia, India), with occasional global travel.
