About this Position
The Territory Sales Engineer – MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) is responsible for driving business growth by promoting and selling industrial adhesive and corrosion protection coating solutions to customers across the assigned territory in Tamil Nadu. This is a techno-commercial role that combines technical expertise with sales and relationship management.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer maintenance challenges, recommending suitable technical solutions, and working closely with distributors and channel partners to achieve sales targets.
What you´ll do
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct plant visits to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and project timelines.
- Support distributors and channel partners throughout the sales process.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer data, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on new technologies, industry trends, and competitor products.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand industrial maintenance solutions.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Trichy, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Neyveli, and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
