What you'll do
- Ensure reliable operation of all IT/OT systems within the warehousing environment
- Plan and execute system updates, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities
- Implement and monitor applicable cybersecurity requirements (e.g., according to IEC 62443)
- Configure digital tools, troubleshoot issues, or escalate them when necessary to maintain the functionality of existing digital systems
- Ensure compliance with IT/OT security standards to enable secure communication and successfully deploy innovative OT solutions within the warehouse
- Design and manage projects from concept to completion, develop business cases, and implement investments in digital technologies including the management of external service providers
- Coordinate with the international Digital Transformation Team to ensure that deployed tools align with the global strategy and HCB technology standards
- Support stakeholder management and ensure transparent communication
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering)
- At least 2 years of experience with Industrial IoT and Manufacturing 4.0 in an industrial environment (experience in the consumer goods industry is an advantage)
- Experience in managing capital investment projects
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders in the adoption of new digital tools
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
