YOUR ROLE
- Regional Overall responsible for all aspects of Sustainability (including Safety, Health, Environment) and Quality; First point of contact on these topics for internal and external stakeholders (Business, SC, Customers, Suppliers - End2End focus).
- Leads and champions Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE), Quality (Q) and Sustainability culture in the region by identifying, managing and mitigating SHE-Q related risks and opportunities, both internal and external.
- Develops and trains the organization on the SHEQ knowledge base (standards, procedures, improvement programs) to support excellence, deploys and measures effectiveness, owning the Regional IMS program and following up on action closure.
- Drives digitalization in area of responsibility together with global teams
- Responsible for further developing, implementing and improving End to End (E2E) Quality program with all relevant stakeholders in assigned region.
- Develop and deploy Behavior Based Safety model and SHE Standards and drives continuous improvement through audit, assessment, reporting and consulting.
- Ensures accurate, comprehensive, timely reporting of incidents, actions and follow up including trend analysis, root cause determination.
- Manages and tracks risk management / mitigation, identifies mission critical SHE investment, push for approvals and support during implementation; ensures SHE standards ay CMTG / 3PM / 3PL sites.
- Implements assessment / audit program to ensure continuous improvement and rapid action gaps, managing all related regulatory and compliance issues.
- Manages SHE input to major projects and all related regulatory and compliance issues.
- Implements DG and product stewardship policy, cross-regional and global SHE collaboration.
- Drives Quality strategy and targets in area of responsibility and uses appropriate reporting tools.
- Implement and continuously improve the Quality Governance and Assurance processes in the Region "end-to-end" with suppliers, CMTG, own production, warehouses, distribution and customers.
- Monitor and continuously improve the Quality performance along the value chain, including KPI monitoring and hygiene performance.
- Ensure compliance to internal Systems, standards, requirements in the area of Q and Hygiene for own production and CMTG/3PL/3PM, IMS.
- Ensures compliance to IMS and with all applicable international & local Henkel norms and legal requirements, including customer audits, ISO certifications 9.001, 14.001, 45.001, 50.001 and overall audit programs.
- Prepare, coordinate and train the SHEQ plant teams in all relevant SHEQ areas, build strong capabilities in the teams.
- Ensures manufacturing or production processes are meeting international and national SHEQ standards, including product and process quality (e.g. FTR).
- Defines quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
- Sets up and maintains controls and documentation procedures; ensures independence and governance in SHEQ related decision making.
- Leads customer complaint reporting and monitors supplier quality complaints and issues actively independent from source (internal/external - Edn2End).
- Steers best practices for the implementation of the Sustainability Roadmap, especially our net zero ambition e.g. to increase energy efficiency, reduce waste and water usage; manages all related regulatory and compliance issues.
- Monitors and analyses performance by gathering relevant data, producing statistical reports and conducting analyses to derive proper activities to improve.
- Works closely with the Global Centers of Excellence on Safety, Health, Environment and Quality to address global customer requirements including audits, standards and targets; supports in the anticipation, development, deployment, and execution of global and regional SHEQ strategy and programs.
