YOUR ROLE

The Head of Product Development plays a key role in fostering innovation in the field of Adhesives for Building Construction. The position is crucial for refining our future product portfolio and managing global and regional development projects.

Further responsibilities include:

• Initiating, planning and steering of innovation projects with internal and external partners
  
• Building up and leading cooperations with external know-how partners (e.g. universities, research institutes, industry partners)
  
• Collaborating closely with product management, production and procurement teams to drive product optimization
  
• Implementation and execution of IP strategies
  
• Acting as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel Adhesive Technologies, both internally and externally
  
• Leading and developing a highly professional team of chemists and technicians (6 direct reports)
  
• Workplace location: Stąporków, Międzynarodowe Centrum Innowacyjnych Technologii Budowlanych Ceresit (Ceresit International Center for Innovative Construction Technologies)

YOUR SKILLS

• Min. 5 years of leadership experience in the field of construction / building products
  
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams with diverse skill sets
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  
• Expert level skills in team building, consensus building, conflict resolution and risk management
  
• Ability to innovate while managing multiple priorities/ projects simultaneously
  
• High scientific skills combined with excellent communicating and connecting skills
  
• Knowledge of relevant markets in Building/Construction (min. 10 years experience preferred)
  
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science or similar with focus on construction materials (dry mix mortars and/or water-based products)
  
• Fluent English and Polish 
  
• Willingness to relocate: Kielce or surrounding areas
