YOUR ROLE
- Manages the product portfolio and product lifecycle from the product development to the end of life in responsible region, and ensures alignment of product and technology offerings to the customers
- Defines and executes the product and technology strategy within the given portfolio responsibility in the responsible region; Executes and drives the manufacture footprint optimization projects, and ensures the alignment with global product portfolio strategy
- Manages and optimizes product profitability, and drives the projects in regions through collaboration with purchasing, operations, supply chain, and other related function teams
- Monitors all the product changes to mitigate negative impact to business such as raw material change, packaging material change, spec. change etc., and leads the customer notification; Leads product IDH code creation, and speeds Time to Market
- Manages the product complexity, and leads the product classification and rationalization
- Supports new products development through our innovation teams including cost estimation, material risk analysis etc., and coordinates all tasks related to set up within our organization and system
- Leads routine product management activities and interactions with 3rd party partners; Work with product safety and regulatory affairs team to resolve regulatory and product compliance issues in region
- Supports supply and/or quality crisis management, the material and/or FG allocation, leads business communication, and drives the critical crisis task in region with the related function teams, if necessary.
