YOUR ROLE

  • Coordinate all the Continuous Improvement Process CIP activities/projects taking place in the factory.
  • Coach on HPS activities and approaches in all pillars including on-the-floor activities
  • Ensure that all improvement activities are followed through to successful completion
  • Act as assessor of integrated activity implementation, calibrates standards with the leadership team
  • Ensure that all improvement activities are followed through to successful completion
  • Guarantee that reporting requirements are communicated and met via agreed formats.
  • Regularly review the results of improvement activity against the expected results and take action as appropriate.
  • Train and mentor teams to drive improvement initiatives across the organization
  • Work closely with HPS team to develop and implement standards to the community
  • Support development of methodologies, systems, tools that support the increase of OEE, reduction of maintenance costs, improvement of SHEQ KPIs
  • Lead workshops involving all plant actors to increase the level of skills and autonomy of the production teams
  • Seek permanently state of the art solutions from external world which could make a difference for Henkel
  • Audits site implementation of HPS to ensure the highest standard of effectiveness 

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience including a proven track record in project management
  • Profound experience with Lean methods, such as: A3, 5S, Gemba, Kaizen, Lean Layout (Cells), Makigami, OEE, One Piece Flow, Poka Yoke, Problem Solving, QCO / SMED, Shopfloor-Mgmt., Six Sigma, Standardized Work, TPM, Visual Management, VSM, Yamazumi (Line Balancing)
  • Strong communication skills as well as proven coaching and training skills
  • Entrepreneurial way of working, analytical skills and ability to motivate people on all levels
  • Fluent English and German language skills
