ROLE

Reporting to the Head of EU‐Office, we are looking for a versatile and motivated PA specialist who would contribute on the following activities:

Public Affairs (80% of the Role)

  • Participate in the development and implementation of comprehensive public affairs and communication strategies, aligned with the group’s objectives and values,
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, association, working groups, federations…) as well as internal ones (global  HQ, local affiliate, cross functional teams…) to advocate for Henkel projects and initiatives;
  • Monitor, analyze, respond to consultations, and drive company advocacy efforts on policies and regulations affecting the chemical industry in Europe, providing timely insights to internal teams.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of crisis communications to safeguard the company’s reputation during challenging situations.

Office management (20% of the Role)

  • Ensuring the first contact function for all internal and external relations of the Henkel EU Office.
  • Handling of internal and external topical and administrative inquiries and management of related correspondences and contacts, including all practical actions and support for topical follow‐up with the PAG team internally and externally.
  • Management of personal appointments of the Head of EU‐Office, travel arrangements and the registration of Henkel PAG team members to public conferences or events.
  • Ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all administrative processes and thorough maintenance of the structural office conditions including the organization of the office layout and overall office supply.
     

PROFILE

  • You have a Master’s/Bachelor degree in political sciences, law or similar fields.
  • First experience (internship or permanent role) in EU public affairs is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills. You are proactive, have attention to details and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in German and English is required. A knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
