About this Position

As a Credit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial health of our organization by expertly managing customer credit accounts. Your primary focus will be to evaluate and establish new customer accounts using SAP, ensuring that credit limits and risk classes are assigned appropriately based on thorough credit report analysis. In this dynamic position, you'll collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable Management team as well as regional leaders, contributing significantly to both daily operations and strategic credit risk management endeavors. You will also engage in periodic reviews of existing accounts, providing actionable recommendations that directly influence credit approvals and order releases. Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure timely completion of essential credit risk processes and management reports. What you´ll do

  • Review and establish new customer accounts in SAP, including determining credit limits and risk classes based on credit reports and in compliance with Corporate Standards
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing customer accounts, provide well-founded approval recommendations and approve credit limit changes and order releases within the delegated authority
  • Review for releasing credit hold orders for new and existing customers in alignment with credit management guidelines
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of core credit risk processes, process controls, and management reports in line with Corporate Standards
  • Support Account Receivable (AR) Management, Team Lead/Manager, Regional Credit Manager, and Regional Head of Process with credit risk matters

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related courses
  • With at least one (1) year related work experience in Credit Risk Analysis; Experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process are highly preferred
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); preferably with knowledge in MS Access, Power BI and any Credit Management reporting tools
  • Highly analytical and with strong attention to details
  • Ability to understand and address business requirements, Experience in service delivery management
  • Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
  • Amenable to work on a night shift schedule (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM), and following US holidays, and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
