**Territory Coverage: Central Michigan and the Eastern Half of the Upper Michigan Peninsula**

What you´ll do

  • Grow and profitably maintain Henkel’s (Loctite) General Industrial Adhesive Technologies business in the Central Michigan market through the distribution channel. 
  • Prospect for new business opportunities at existing and targeted OEM/MRO accounts by visiting customers and distributors in the geographic territory weekly. 
  • Sell OEM/MRO products and services by determining customer needs at existing and new accounts.
  • Work the sales process to identify, develop, and quantify the appropriate value proposition for your customers by matching their needs with our adhesive solutions. 
  • Provide technical sales support to customers and distributors to develop a robust project pipeline of new business opportunities through a value-added, solutions-centered approach.  Educate, motivate and train Authorized Industrial Distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions by developing and presenting formal training sessions. 
  • Analyze sales and marketing data to strategically prospect for new business opportunities while managing existing customer base, by visiting customers to solve manufacturing needs with our technologies and value-added solutions. 
  • Implement strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel’s product lines in the territory. 
  • Prioritize & execute sales/marketing programs for the assigned area in alignment with Henkel’s go-to-market strategies. 
  • Offer a proactive and consultative approach to exploring needs and finding innovative solutions for customers with the support of our technical team. 
  • Collaborate internally with Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering, Inside Sales, Product Management and other functions to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving sustainable growth.
  • Effectively communicate progress and needs to the management team. 
  • Utilize Henkel’s customer relationship management (CRM) tool to manage sales engagement activities and project pipeline. 
  • 25% overnight travel required.

  • Enjoys presenting to groups on a regular basis to educate and drive new opportunities 
  • Successful industrial and MRO sales experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided. 
  • Inquisitive and collaborative mindset * Enthusiasm for innovation, adapts well to change 
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and natural curiosity of manufacturing processes
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver 
  • Experience working with distribution channel preferred

The salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
