Shape the Future of PU Manufacturing – Globally.
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Process Engineering Leader to take on the role of Global PE Manager for our worldwide production network, with a strategic focus on Polyurethane Chemistry (PU). In this critical role, you will drive global productivity, innovation, and capacity improvements by leading a Network of Experts and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

You will act as a key enabler of next-generation production processes, contribute to technology innovations, and set the global standard for process engineering excellence in PU. Reporting to the Global Technology Head for Polyurethane, Hotmelt, and Water-Based Products, you will work across a dynamic matrix of stakeholders including Technology Management, Product Development, Global Operations, and Capital Project Management.

What you´ll do

  •  Drive process innovation by leading the design and implementation of new or improved PU production processes
  • Optimize performance through analysis and enhancement of existing technologies across the global PU network

  • Steer global projects by managing and aligning process engineering efforts across regions and investment programs

  • Standardize excellence by defining and rolling out global best practices and process engineering benchmarks

  • Shape technology investments by influencing technical scoping, automation levels, and capacity planning for major projects

  • Consolidate knowledge and share cross-plant learnings to foster continuous improvement throughout the network

  • Ensure compliance by providing technical sign-off and safeguarding adherence to safety, sustainability, quality, and cost objectives

  • Support product innovation by ensuring scalable, efficient process integration for new PU products

  • Lead the Network of Experts to promote collaboration, alignment, and capability development across all PU-relevant sites

  • Define a strategic roadmap to guide long-term development of PU technologies and global production capabilities.

What makes you a good fit

  • Engineering degree or equivalent scientific qualification; Master’s degree preferred

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in process engineering, ideally with polyurethane or related chemistries

  • Strong technical expertise in industrial process engineering and manufacturing

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, global teams or networks

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking and operational execution

  • Excellent project management skills and hands-on approach to problem-solving

  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication abilities
