About this Position

As a Sales Manager for Henkel's Sports & Fashion Adhesives in Indonesia, you will lead the strategic development and execution of sales initiatives within the sports footwear and fashion apparel sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by managing key accounts, expanding market presence, and ensuring the delivery of innovative adhesive solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What you´ll do

  • Executes the sales strategy and develops action plans for areas of responsibility in line with strategic priorities
  • Coordinates execution of the customer roadmap and ensures timely closure Actively manages implementation of the pricing strategy within the region Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory
  • Drives implementation of key strategic initiatives within the sales area
  • Delivers sales and distribution targets for the sales area Leads, coaches, and mentors sales team members, ensuring their ongoing education and development
  • Ensures efficient geographical coverage and identifies cross-selling opportunities to achieve full business potential
  • Coordinates tasks across key interfaces and ensures their fulfillment Ensures compliant execution of sales processes (e.g., pricing, customer data management)
  • Provides sales forecasts for the sales area and monitors key KPIs Manages relationships and planning with distribution partners; monitors their financial performance
  • Cross function collaboration between key interfaces including Key Account Managers, Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Technical Managers, Local Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams, Sales Representatives, and third-party agencies—to ensure seamless execution.

What makes you a good fit

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, with at least 5 years in key account management within the adhesive, textile, or footwear industries.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, tactic sales skill, result-driven 
  • Language: Korean would be highly preferred and good working proficiency in English and Bahasa 
  • Attributes: self-motivated, good problem solving & decision-making capabilities with strong leadership and communication skills
