What you´ll do

A critical leadership role responsible for formulating and executing strategic initiatives that drive value creation across a complex, high-impact operational landscape spanning North America and Latin America. With oversight of more than 40 operational sites and a total supply chain spend exceeding €800 million, this role demands a seasoned strategic leader capable of delivering transformative results.

  • Develop and drive the strategic roadmap for Americas Operations & Supply Chain, aligning closely with global objectives
  • Strategize value creation: Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities including operational footprint optimization, transformation at sustainability, digital transformation, target structure, innovative supply chain solutions and strategize ops. integrations
  • Adopt a hands-on approach when needed, actively engaging in strategy creation and execution to ensure successful outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with regional senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment and integration across cross-functional teams and business units
  • Influence and collaborate with other regional and functional heads to drive transformational change and secure broad-based support for strategic initiatives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations that influence high-stakes operational and investment decisions
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance to a dedicated team of 3 direct reports, fostering professional development and ensuring team alignment to strategic objectives

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience; consulting or strategic leadership experience in operations and supply chain within large, complex organizations, preferably in the chemical, manufacturing, or related industries is required
  • Demonstrated track record in successfully leading and implementing large-scale strategic transformations
  • Proven experience in operational footprint optimization, strategic sourcing, CapEx management, digitalization, or sustainability
  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills with an ability to simplify complex challenges into actionable plans
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to effectively engage & align senior stakeholders across diverse functions
  • English is required. Spanish/Portuguese is a plus

The salary for this role is $170,000.00 - $230,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
