About this Position

A Traditional Trade Manager plays a critical role in managing and driving sales in the traditional trade (TT) channel, which typically includes retailers and wholesalers.  

What you´ll do

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets withing traditional trade channel
  • Track sales performance and analyze market trends within the traditional trade sector
  • Expand the company’s presence in untapped markets or zones
  • Establish and manage a robust distribution network
  • Ensure proper allocation of products to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations
  • Build and strengthen relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and main retailers
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of distributors and ensure their compliance with company policies
  • Monitor results, optimize the campaign, and replicate successful strategies in other territories

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred for senior roles
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management. Familiarity with FMCG is highly required
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of retail dynamics and trade channels
  • Extensive knowledge about distribution
  • Proven experience in managing/leading people
  • Effective communication skills in both English and French
