About this Position
A Traditional Trade Manager plays a critical role in managing and driving sales in the traditional trade (TT) channel, which typically includes retailers and wholesalers.
What you´ll do
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets withing traditional trade channel
- Track sales performance and analyze market trends within the traditional trade sector
- Expand the company’s presence in untapped markets or zones
- Establish and manage a robust distribution network
- Ensure proper allocation of products to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations
- Build and strengthen relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and main retailers
- Oversee the onboarding and training of distributors and ensure their compliance with company policies
- Monitor results, optimize the campaign, and replicate successful strategies in other territories
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred for senior roles
- Minimum 10 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management. Familiarity with FMCG is highly required
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of retail dynamics and trade channels
- Extensive knowledge about distribution
- Proven experience in managing/leading people
- Effective communication skills in both English and French
