About this Position

The Deductions Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Trade Promotion financials. By meticulously reviewing customer deductions and chargebacks, you’ll assess their validity and work to resolve disputes effectively.  As part of our dedicated team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales and the Trade team, fostering open communication to resolve cases promptly. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives, supporting both immediate resolutions and long-term enhancements to our deduction management. What you´ll do

  • Review and assess customer deductions and chargebacks related to Trade Promotions to evaluate case validity
  • Communicate with internal teams (Sales, Broker or local Trade team) to review documentation and resolve dispute case
  • Accurately document resolution steps and outcomes in the deduction tracking systems and tools
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the deduction resolution process
  • Provide operational and/or ad hoc tasks support such as reporting, escalation and other relevant activities

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • With at least one (1) year of experience in accounts receivable, deduction management, or related financial role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Intermediate MS Office skills are required while experience with SAP, Macro, Power BI is an advantage
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Amenable to work on a night shift schedule (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM), following US holidays, and report on a hybrid work set-up in Makati
