About this Position
- Henkel Digital Business creates added value through innovations and technology with unite digital expertise, business process management and IT to drive digital transformation in Henkel. We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant focusing on supporting our Henkel Consumer Brands business unit in Asia with expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, along with hands-on experience in MES deployment and smart factory implementation. The ideal candidate will drive digital transformation in manufacturing environments, ensuring seamless integration of SAP systems, optimizing production workflows, and enabling Industry 4.0 capabilities.
What you´ll do
- SAP Implementation:
- Lead end-to-end SAP PP and QM module implementations in new manufacturing plants, including configuration, customization, and integration with MM, SD, and FI/CO modules.
- Design production planning workflows (MRP, capacity planning, shop floor control) and quality management processes (inspection plans, quality certificates, defect resolution) using SAP tools.
- Conduct gap analysis, user training, and post-implementation support to ensure alignment with business goals. - MES Deployment:
Implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to bridge ERP (SAP) and shop-floor operations, ensuring real-time data capture for production tracking, quality control, and inventory management.
Configure MES modules for production scheduling, equipment monitoring, and analytics dashboards to enhance OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). - Smart Factory Initiatives:
Drive Industry 4.0 projects, including IoT-enabled production lines, digital twins, and automated workflows, to optimize resource utilization and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP, MES, and IoT platforms (e.g., IIoT sensors, PLCs) for predictive maintenance and data-driven decision-making. - Project Management & Collaboration:
Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from requirement gathering to go-live, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Work closely with stakeholders (operations, engineering, QA) to align IT solutions with manufacturing KPIs.
What makes you a good fit
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Technical skill:
- Proficiency in SAP PP and QM.
- Experience with MES platforms and integration with SAP.
- Knowledge of smart factory technologies and automation standards. - Certifications (Preferred): SAP PP/QM, PMP, or Industry 4.0 certifications.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred with experience on Process Manufacturing industry.
