What you´ll do
- Shape the forecasting process & model development
- Monitor and maintain statistical forecasting processes for specific portfolio
- Execute periodic model fine-tuning to ensure best-fit forecast performance
- Drive the development and implementation of new forecasting methodologies to stay ahead of business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate market knowledge and business inputs into the statistical forecasting process
- Analyze portfolio-level performance , uncover root causes, and spotlight improvement areas
- Handle ad hoc analytical requests, translating business questions into data-driven insights
- Validate data inputs/outputs to ensure our forecast quality and integrity
- Drive forecast adjustments based on best-fit business strategy and product behavior
- Spot white spaces in data or process and propose smart solutions
- Contribute to the design and development of forecasting tools and user interfaces
- Participate in cross-functional projects aiming to enhance automation, accuracy, and usability of forecasting solutions
- Lead or support forecasting-related projects, including planning, coordination, and follow-up on deliverables
What makes you a good fit
- Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical field
- Solid experience with statistical forecasting & modeling and predictive analytics
Excellent Excel skills (functions and pivot tables; macros is a plus) - Working knowledge or hands-on experience in tools such as R or Python
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, VBA is a plus
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated project management skills – ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and deliver results
- Proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to translate complex analytical outcomes into business-relevant messages

Minimum salary: 1300 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview.)
